GETTING READY
A good beginning continues at home.
Welcoming a puppy means preparing for a lifetime of care.
Before collection, arrange a safe sleeping area, suitable food, secure surroundings, and a veterinary appointment. Ask for the puppy's feeding routine, health records, parasite-treatment information, and any guidance that will help maintain consistency during the transition.
Pugs and French Bulldogs need particular attention to breathing, temperature, exercise, weight, and other breed-associated health concerns. Avoid strenuous exercise in heat, and seek veterinary advice if you notice breathing distress or other concerning symptoms.
Every puppy is different. Your veterinarian can help establish an appropriate care plan.
